Born and raised in Bristol, Mark travelled extensively in his early 20's before settling in Brighton where he studied editorial photography at the University of Brighton. Upon graduation he moved to London where he spent a year assisting before becoming a staff photographer for the Independent newspaper.

After a few years as a staffer Mark stepped in to freelance work and now works for a variety of national newspapers, magazines and commercial clients. He is also undertaking a Masters in photography at Goldsmith's College.
